Ceramic Sculpture
Stoneware clay
Bisque fired then stained and cone 10 fired
Approx. Dim. 4"x4"x12"
The concept that this sculpture is supposed to visualize is conflict. The conflict is man vs. nature, a fairly cliche one but this was my first time working in 3D so I decided to make it easy on me. I constructed it using slabs then morphing them and adding coils for tree-like limbs.
I ended up taking a ceramic course again and when I get this semester's pieces finished I will be sure to post them.
